K, now on to the weekend update. Thursday was a blast. Hit happy hour with Eth, got hella drunk, and Cristin surprised me by coming down after work. Which was great cause I hadn't seen her all damn week. And she brought me presents! Big ol Easter basket filled with yummy things. And an uber cool lamda necklace that she bought me 5 months ago but never gave to me. She so cute!
Friday we went out to eat. Mmmm, crab legs! Went shopping, rented movies, etc then went home and spent the rest of the night in bed. Watching movies. Well, ok, watching the first halves of 3 different movies, lol. We're easily distracted, what can I say.
Saturday, Smouse and Rach texted us and we all headed downtown to the Mattress Factory, then headed to Sweet Basil & La Filipiniana Restaurant for some chow. Holy freakin yum. I can't recommend them enough. Seriously, if you like Thai or Filipino food, give them a try. The staff is great, prices are reasonable, and the Food. Is. Awesome. Plus its BYOB, no corking fee (or so the sign says), and if you fill out the suggestion card and give them your email addy, they send you a coupon for a free dessert. Woot! AND there are coupons for a free appetizer in the City Paper. You can't lose. We're going back this Friday. Huzzah!
Sunday I visited mom and had easter tacos. Yay!
Which brings us to yet another work week. Which I celebrated by going to Targay and buying $250 worth of kitchen stuff. New pots and glasses and gadgets and all sorts of happiness! Plus a new phone and a book! YAAAYYYYY!
