Not that you care, but thought I'd share that lil tidbit anyways. Random thoughts of the day:
Hide and Seek kinda sucked. Wasn't terrible, but with De Niro and Dakota Fanning, I expected much more. Kudos to my woman for goin with me tho, as she is not of the horror-movie-loving variety.
Cat Power is awesome and you should go buy The Covers Album immediately if not sooner. Fo real. Good nookie album for the newly in love.
If someone can explain Mulholland Drive to me I'll be forever grateful. Cause seriously- what the fuck WAS that? Bonus points if you don't use the words surreal, bizarre or symbolic.
More on film- if anyone knows of a good Godard movie, please give me a heads up via comments. He's supposed to be this amazing filmmaker. I've seen Breathless and attempted to watch A Woman is a Woman and Contempt and I've come to the conclusion that the only way I would enjoy his films is if the first 45 minutes introduced the characters and the next 45 minutes was just random footage of them being slowly, methodically tortured.
And finally, a little information for the menfolk- When I was about 15 I read a Stephen King story in which the main character gets kicked in the berries. King described the pain as feeling "like I was going to throw up and shit my pants at the same time" (paraphrased). That's a perfect description of bad menstrual cramps. So the next time your woman says she has cramps and you're cranky because you wanted to go out, remember- God just kicked her in the berries.
