- Weekend Update
Figured its been awhile and I just know you're all eagerly awaiting news of the house and girlfriend and life in general, right? No? Tough, you're gettin it anyways.
In house news, no new developments. All the paperwork is in, insurance is set up, just waiting on the mortgage company to decide if I'm worthy. It was appraised slightly higher than my purchase price, so my realtor says its probably safe to say I got it. But ya know, that "probably" word kinda takes the fun out of it. Like hullo, yes or no? Tired of waitin here. Closing is in 3 weeks and I have yet to pack a damn thing. Not that that is in any way shocking. I am the queen of procrastination after all.
The new girlfriend is still in major wooing mode, which is fabulous. Its good to be wooed. We went out with one of her best friends Friday night. I was all shades of nervous, but it went very well. Its amazing what homemade strawberry wine can do, lemme tell ya. After hanging with said friend for a few hours, we met up with Eth at NYNY, then we all went to a new afterhours club. Much fun and drunkeness ensued. Everyone went back to my place to crash. Woke up Saturday to breakfast in bed. Yes yes, I know, you're all jealous. Neener neener. (Just for the record, I'm also still in wooing mode, but think it'd be a tad obnoxious if I posted all about how much I rock, so you'll have to use your imagination. But I do. Rock that is. Heh.)
In other random news, I got yet ANOTHER flat. Can't go having an entirely good weekend now can I? Eth came over and provided the muscle, for which I will be eternally grateful. So yeah, new set o tires for me this week.
