- Its Official!
I am a homeowner! Closing was Tuesday. Celebration begins tomorrow night, which will be my first night in the new place. Not that I actually expect to have my bed there by then, but hey, shit happens. My blogging will be sparce in the following month or so, what with the house and the holidays and all, but I will try to keep y'all updated on any important developments.
On a completely unrelated note, if there are any readers out there that knit, I would truly, truly love to receive a pink, fuzzy uterus doll for Christmas. Pretty please?

- Two Days
Two days left. Had the final walk through of the house today, after intense insane bullshit drama last week that I won't even get into here. But the walkthrough went ok, all the stuff that needed fixed is fixed, save the sidewalk, and I have a clause in the agreement that the seller will have that fixed within 45 days, so huzzah. Closing is Tuesday morn at 10:30, and thereafter I will be a homeowner. And I found out that my gas bill won't be nearly as bad as I feared, so double huzzah!
In other news, I've been girlfriendless since Thursday. Cristin went to New Orleans with her family, so I have had all kinds of free time to pack and get things organized. How much did I pack? Not a damn thing, lol. I know, you're all shocked. After all, I am such a picture of responsibility and organization. But hey, I had a cold, so blow me. I have till the end o the month to move, why strain myself? Right? RIGHT?!? Heh. I never have been a good mover. But hey, thats why I decided to rent my current place till the end of the year. Smart thinkin!
I did however get most of Kev's Christmas scarf crocheted, so I wasn't entirely useless. Go me.
And now I'm off to watch the Bob Dylan interview. Ciao.
