    Tee hee!

Aight, so maybe I'm juvenile, but the fact that a comment from Frog was followed by a comment from someone named G.D. Frogsdong just cracked my shit right up. Yeah, I know I'm a child, but what ya gonna do?

But on to more important topics. Big, big news in the Girlydyke world. Huge. Ready for this?

I found a house. Correction, I found my house. 4 bedrooms, 3 floors, 2 gas fireplaces and a big ol' honkin garage. Suppose I should tell the whole story eh? K. Friday, Eth and I met my realtor to go check out a few places I found online. As is our typical Friday afternoon routine. First house we saw was great. 4 bedrooms, back deck, pool, big kitchen, well maintained, all good. Newer construction, etc etc. We call that one the Jesus house due to the 15,000 Christian icons that were in every. single. room. Big on the Jesus those people are. Not that I have a problem with Jesus. I just tend to freak slightly in the presence of His major fans, cause, you know, they tend not to like me much. NE ways, way impressed with the Jesus house except for the fact that it had no soul. But very impressive nonetheless.

On to the next house. We pull up to the front:

Corner lot. That means only one neighbor. Woot! Oh, and we saw said neighbor, who happens to be an older gentleman, which means no kids. WOOT!!
    Entryway:

    Living room:

Note the gas fireplace. Couple that with a lil Barry White and you're virtually gauranteed nookie.
    Dining room:

Now this place has soul! And a teensy dinky little kitchen:

    Which sucks.

Three bedrooms and a full bath on the second floor. Big rooms, huge closets, and way cool built in cupboards and drawers. Oh, and hardwood floors. Boo ya.

Third floor- 3 rooms, lots of space, and a sink. No clue why there's a sink up there, but there ya go. Huge windows, lots of light, and again hardwood floors.

Basement- way scary, uneven floor, but vast amounts of storage space. Plus a lil teensy door that I immediately dubbed the midget door. Yeah, I know its politically incorrect, but "little person door" just doesn't have the same ring.

Behind the dinky kitchen is a sunroom with gas fireplace. Out back is a cool little fenced in yard and a two car garage complete with a garage door opener.

All weekend I'm back and forth. Jesus house? Old house? What to do what to do? On one hand ya have the Jesus house, which is move-right-in-able. Except for the lack of doors on the bedrooms. Creepy that. But everything else is perfection. And the kitchen is to die for. Plus, hullo! Pool parties!
On the other hand- 80 year old house. Wiring probably need updated. Kitchen needs remodeled. Bathrooms need major work. Costs more money and the taxes are higher. But it has soul. What's a rational, analytical, level headed lesbian to do?

Make an offer on the house that will cost more money, be more work, and need more attention. Of course. Cause that one feels like home. So, yep, makin an offer. Barring any unforseen circumstances, I should be snugglin up in my new living room in front of my new fireplace with my new girlfriend by Christmas.
